Cookie Policy.

Working draft. This text must be reviewed by a qualified lawyer and the bracketed details completed before launch.

This policy explains how The Cycling Brief uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. We keep this to the minimum needed to run the service.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let a site remember things between requests, for example, that you are signed in, so it can work correctly and securely.

2. The cookies we use

Strictly necessary (essential)

We use only essential cookies set by our authentication provider (Supabase) to sign you in and keep your session secure. These are required for the Platform to function, without them you could not log in or stay logged in. Because they are strictly necessary, they do not require consent under the applicable rules.

3. What we do not use

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party marketing trackers. We do not sell your data.

4. Analytics

We currently do not run analytics cookies. If we add analytics, we will use a privacy-friendly, cookieless tool that does not track you across sites, and we will update this policy.

5. Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking the essential cookies above will prevent you from signing in and using account features.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the current version is always published on this page, with the date shown above.
